K-POP Fever Heads to Athens This September

K-POP Fever is heading to Athens this September, with demand already strong enough to add an extra performance at Technopolis City of Athens.

The K-pop tribute production was originally scheduled to appear at Technopolis on September 8, but after that performance sold out, an additional Athens date was announced for September 5.

Coming directly from London, K-POP Fever brings a cast of 12 singers and dancers to the stage for a high-energy live production combining music, choreography and large-scale visuals inspired by some of the biggest names in contemporary K-pop.

The show features hits associated with artists including BTS, BLACKPINK, ROSÉ, TWICE, Stray Kids and ATEEZ, alongside music from HUNTR/X, the fictional K-pop group at the centre of the global animated phenomenon KPop Demon Hunters.

Among the songs featured in the production are major K-pop hits such as BTS’ “Dynamite” and “Butter”, BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “How You Like That”, TWICE’s “Fancy”, Stray Kids’ “God’s Menu”, ATEEZ’s “Wonderland” and ROSÉ’s global hit “APT.”

Rather than paying tribute to a single artist, K-POP Fever celebrates the wider K-pop phenomenon, bringing together songs from different generations and styles within the genre in a theatrical live show built around vocals, dance and visual spectacle.

The production arrives in Greece as K-pop continues to expand far beyond its South Korean origins, developing a worldwide audience and influencing mainstream pop culture, fashion, choreography and visual production.

The response in Athens has already demonstrated that Greece is very much part of that audience. With the September 8 performance sold out, the newly added September 5 date gives fans another opportunity to experience the show at Technopolis.

K-POP Fever arrives in Athens for two nights of music, choreography and some of the most recognisable songs in modern K-pop, transforming Technopolis into a celebration of one of the biggest global pop-cultural movements of the past decade.
